"Behing Every Good Woman" Gift Card Holder (CKC Lancaster 2012)

This month, I am sharing projects I made in classes at CKC Lancaster PA this past summer. I loved a gift card holder class taught by The-Whole-Kit-N-Kaboodle. The projects were designed by Andrea Deer and they are super cute! We made 3 cards in class with another 2 to make at home. Check out "Built Tough" the project from yesterday. Today I'm showcasing "Behind Every Good" a gift card holder with a coffee theme.

I was amazed at how basic shapes came together to make this coffee cup! It's a great way to present a gift card to someone's favorite coffee shop.

I love the idea of including the gift card under the flap. It's a very cool surprise. Hope you enjoyed it!

  1. I saw on your Nov. 11 post that you were looking for ideas of how to store your wood-mounted stamps. I'm a ScrapRack newbie and I've been researching solutions for some of these same things you blogged about. Anyway...I saw on the 2011 Get Org FB group an idea I'm considering for my wood mounts. Pamela J Duncan said Wal Mart carries these flat storage boxes called a CraftDesign Scrapbook Page Carrier by AKRO-MILS. THey are just the right depth for most wood mounts and it looks like they stack beautifully. I'm going to our local Wal Mart today to see if they have any, although we live a small town with a small Wal Mart and an even smaller craft department....so.......ANyway, check it out on the FB group and see what you think! HTH!

    1. LOL, yes I know Rhonda, the dum dum bucket is a no-no for sure. I tried to find you on the 2011 get organized group and there's another rhonda H on there. What's your last name? Well, anyway, Jenn Eitniear on another group I belong to called cuttlebugging suggested this for your wood stamps. You may have to copy/paste the link.

La-Vie, This is what I use (pic on my page @Fancy Free Designs) and they are soooo easily accessible. The label to the right is what you will want to look for. I purchase them at a local store but you can find them on line too (and they come in 3 different sizes of thickness): https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=149770685078709&set=a.148300841892360.53032.145437742178670&type=3&theater

  3. Uh oh. Yours is the second request I have had in as many days to COPY AND PASTE a link. I do not know how to do this with my Mac. No right click/left click...Can you give me some tech support on this apparently invaluable skill????? LOL. no really.
