I have seen people using clear glitter on patterned or stamped paper for a long time and it always looks so magical! Today I wanted to create some magic myself! I cut out a flower from the Vintage double sided paper in my stash. I think it's from DCWV (but don't quote me on that) and applied an even coat of Zig 2 Way glue. I then used my heat tool to dry the glue (making it repositionable). I sprinkled the glitter on the image and I love love love it! However, the camera did not pick up all the glittery goodness exactly like I wanted. Even so, the glitter took the vintage paper and made it look more vintage to me.

Here's the paper I used. Hopefully you can see the difference the glitter brings to it. The bow is tied with vintage seam binding. I plan on giving this card to my daughter when the time is just right!

Hello Kitty Cheerleader card

My daughter's close friend is really into cheering so when it was time to celebrate her birthday, we knew just what to make! The Cricut cart Hello Kitty Greetings has many shaped cards so we chose the cheerleader. We used coordinating scraps to cloth Hello Kitty. The top was stamped with a star from TPC Studio: Celebration stamp set. The sentiment on the inside is from the same stamp set.

The pom poms and the skirt are cut from the same patterened paper. We decided to add glossy accents and Martha Stewart clear craft glitter to the pom poms to make them glittery. It was very hard to take a picture of the glitteryness. We hope these views give you an idea how fabulous it looked.

We had lots of fun putting this one together!

Instant Scrapbook Baby Boy - Pg 12 & 13

As continued from last time, here are the next pages of the scrapbook. Provo Craft has created the perfect cart for religious phrases and images called Inspired Heart sold at their website and at Wal-Mart. This 2-page Christening layout is created with cut at 5", cut at 4" and cut at 2". The cardstock used is DCWV metallic stack - blue

The background paper is Doodlebug Design Inc. - 1583 Polo. The gem stickers are by Martha Stewart Crafts. The ink applied with a large dauber is by Clear & Simple stamps - simply blue-tiful. The stamp - "sharing with you..." is from Stampin' Up! and the Provebs 3 stamp is from Stamp La Jolla. The jubilation stamp is from Memories direct in their phrases set bought from HSN.com.

I hope you found inspiration in the simplicity of this 2 page spread today!
