I have 2 forgotten holiday crafts for you today. I was obsessed with thinking about them both but haven't tried it until now. First, I made a coffee filter wreath using a pack of coffee filters and foam wreath form that I purchased at Dollar Tree. I love how it came out! It's so versatile and can be used for any holiday by changing the ribbon. I'm going to use this one for Easter.
It took almost the whole pack of coffee filters. I folded each filter in half and then half again before attaching it to the wreath form with a low temp hot glue gun. I then worked my way out and to the back. Once all the filters were attached I gave it an overall haircut. I felt like edward scissorhands! The glitter mesh ribbon in hot pink completed the look.
Second, I used the same low temp hot glue gun to attach clear bling to glitter ornaments. I saw these at a craft fair 2 years ago and I was like I could do that!!
I made one with a more random pattern and one with a more linear pattern. Both of these crafts are great to do as a family. I am glad I was able to complete these tasks and I'll be able to enjoy them for years to come.
