As promised I'm back.... with the companion page for my amusement park layout. I created this layout for my nephew's scrapbook with the DCWV Stack-a-holic challenge in mind.
Most of the layout was created using DCWV - My Sunshine Stack. However, a small amount of embellishments are from The Paper Loft - Double-sided die cuts - Summer Shapes, Lawn Fawn Peace Love Joy - sequins and American Crafts ribbon and twine. All the layers were inked with Tim Holtz Distress ink - antique linen using a finger dauber.
For more information on the first page I created, see my last post.
Together they make a great pair of pages about my nephew's ride on the Ferris wheel. After creating the layout I couldn't decide whether to reverse the pages due to the title being on the right hand page. The timeline suggested we waited in line and then we got on the ride so I positioned them this way. However, I think it's a little more pleasing to the eye to see them reversed.
Here's how they look the other way around.
Do you see a difference? Which do you like best? Does it matter that the timeline of events is nw backwards or do you just see cute kid faces? I know there's no right or wrong answer. But I am just curious if anyone else goes through these dilemmas. Please leave me a comment with your vote. Thanks for stopping by!
