Getting diagnosed with a life threatening illness can be hard on anyone. It is always good to know you are not in it alone. The KK8 Design Team have made boxes of hope that can be filled with words of encouragements. For the next two days we will show case our creations.
It was a blessing to create this Breast Cancer box to brighten my college friend Jennifer Whetsell's day who is a breast cancer survivor. I started out with a brown chipboard cross box from Hobby Lobby. Pink is the color of choice, so I painted it and layered scrapbook paper, a quote, ink, crochet flowers, brads and stickles to accentuate the breast cancer symbol.
The box is filled with quotes I found online at The Quote Garden. I am hoping they resonate with my dear friend.
It was very nice to share a little cheer and support. Thanks for stopping by!
