Have Yourself A Very Mousy Christmas! Disney, Mosaic Moments, Simple Stories

I'm back with another 2 page layout using Mosaic Moments dies and grid cardstock. Have you heard that my absolute favorite pattern right now is chevron??? I had to make a Disney layout using this pattern from the 6x6 pad of patterned cardstock Say Cheese by Simple Stories. Besides the Christmas parade pics the star of the show is the beautiful title by Paper Wizard. The picture squares were cut from a Marvy punch.

All the cardstock is from Say Cheese. I created the middle element from the 12x12 cardstock page with different pattern strips on it. In addition I added the chevron border sticker under the text. The more chevron the better! The photos are matted on newsprint style cardstock from the collection.

And finally, the black embellishments are from Queen and Company. They are flocked domes like I have never seem before. I thought they made a difference in the overall look of the layout. Here's one last look!

Magic Kingdom Street Party Parade - Hot off the Press, Mosaic Moments and Simple Stories

We spent 2 days in Disney's Magic Kingdom and saw several parades. This layout features the Street Party with all of our fav characters. It was fun to have the opportunity to dance and interact with the characters on a more personal level. Not all my pics came out stellar, but with Mosaic Moments they look like a million bucks!

The patterned cardstock on both pages and the stickers on the first page are from Simple Stories Say Cheese collection. Chip 'n Dale and the Mickey head die cut are stickers from EK Success. The words Magic Kingdom are scrapbooking Dazzles by Hot off the Press.

Here's the layout altogether. I love the mix of squares, rectangles and strips to create this active scene.

I Love A Parade! Layout featuring Mosaic Moments, Simple Stories and Paper Wizard

I'm so happy with the Mosaic Moments system of scrapbooking. It has endless options and looks so professional. With the new dies they came out with it makes it SO much quicker and more enjoyable. As long as the mojo is flowing, I can get layout after layout done in a jiffy. And of course the Paper Wizard title just sets it off! I was able to complete this layout using just the Simple Stories Say Cheese collection and some washi tape and memorabilia from my stash.

I have really enjoyed including Paper Wizard titles on my pages. They just really make it pop. Incorporating snap cards for my journaling was a no brainer as well. I don't usually add pockets or stickers to my pages but I must say these stickers do actually stick and the pocket was the perfect place to display our 5-day park hopper tickets.

This type of page is what made me fall in love with Mosaic Moments! It's a great way to combine many pics into a spectacular visual experience.

Here's the layout altogether. I love how it came out.

I'd love to hear if you have tried Mosaic Moments, how you scrap your parade or Disney pics. Fill me in!!

Hakuna Matata Lion King Scrapbooking Layout

Yo, yo, YO!! I'm back to share more of my Disney scrapbooking!!!!! I'm still using Mosaic Moments dies and grid cardstock to document our first trip to Disney from 2011. The entire album is done in Mosaic Moments. It's been quite a task indeed spanning several years. But now the dies and the gallery with color-coded pattens make it quick and easy! The dies are pricey but it's worth every penny to get all the sets. They come with layering dies in addition if you are not using the grid cardstock. It's a WIN WIN! You can make normal pages or cards or whatever with the dies.

Above is my left hand page highlighting pics from the Lion King live show in Animal Kingdom. It was so spectacular. I think I had more fun than the kids! Both pages came together easily using cardstock and embellishments from Simple Stories Say Cheese collection. I love this collection (so much that I have also purchased the second collection Say Cheese II) because it has all the right colors and embellishments for making general Disney pages. It included stickers and snap cards. I used the stickers in the set to answer questions on the pocket card and to take up blank space in my pics.

I added one sticker pack from EK Success for the Simba on this page. It is actually furry!! From that same pack I was able to create the title on the second page of this layout and the border at the bottom right including the cast of characters.

I think this is from Say Cheese II but my fav part of the collection is the clear overlays. I was able to use a card saying what a bunch of characters and trim down the overlay to create my own embellishment. The overlay has the stars and hearts and the bottom border of arrows. I'll add journaling to the top right hand card. I only added the Simba sticker and some stars.

Here's a look at the entire spectacle!! The layout is posed in my scrap 'n easel - another must have! Thanks for stopping by!

Our Disney Adventure with Mickey and Donald Layout

I'm back to share more of my wonderful scrapbooking. I'm using Mosaic Moments dies and grid cardstock to document our first trip to Disney from 2011. The embellishments and patterned cardstock is from two different EK Success pads.

First, here's a blast from the past! I created this left-hand page quite a while ago. For more information on the first page click here. It was so lonely, so I created a companion page and the layout is quite spectacular if I don't say so myself! I like that there's lot of room for journaling and more memorabilia (should I find some tucked away).

Here's the new page I created using Donald Duck cardstock, border and some adhesive ribbon and from my stash. The large brads at by The Paper Studio. I thought it was a great way to highlight this large professional pic taken by Disney staff.

Here's a look at the layout. Click on the picture to see it larger.

Disney's Tinkerbell - Just Tinkering Around -Scrapbooking Layout

I know you may have been expecting a card, but surprise! I've been scrapbooking our first trip to Disney from 2011. I couldn't have made this wonderful layout without the beautiful title from Paper Wizard and the dies and  grid cardstock from Mosaic Moments. The patterned cardstock is from EK Success.

I put together the many pieces of the title with a combo of Xyron, Quickie glue pen and Scotch ATG.

I used to use punches and hand cut the mosaic parts but it took FOREVER. I have literally been working on this album for years one or two layouts every quarter. Alas with the new dies, I was able to double my layout count in a week!!!!! Hallelujah!! And the Mosaic Moments website has a gallery full of layouts that are colored coded to make it easy to know which dies to use.

Here's a look at the entire layout. I'll add journaling on the second page. By the way,  it's resting in my Scrap 'n Easel. Can't live without that either!

Thanks for stopping by!

Baby Girl Shaker Card

I'm back with two more shaker cards! These also were made with supplies from Die Cuts with A View (DCWV), Martha Stewart, Marvy, Darcie's, Impression Obsession, Bazzill, Marvy, Recollections and Memento with the addition of Mon Ami Gabby.

Here's a shaker card tip. Notice that the card on the left is more orderly and the one on the right has glitter all over the window. Well, I rubbed the surface of the one of the left with a new drier sheet before filling and it removed the static. Amazing!!

The shaker windows are self-adhesive, very shallow and easy to use. I stuck the adhesive edge of the shaker window to a large punched circle and covered the edge with adhesive fabric ribbon. The windows are filled with iridescent shaped glitter from Martha Stewart. It looks like tiny sequins.

I love the pink crepe paper on the card front from Mon Ami Gabby and the bling from Recollections. The sentiment on the front was created with two stamps from Inkadinkado. I did a little masking to stamp just the baby head and then the baby girl right underneath.

The internal sentiments are from Darcie's and Inkadinkado. Thanks for stopping by!

It's a Boy! Shaker Card

Shaker cards are all the rage and I thought I'd try my hand at some simple ones using supplies from Die Cuts with A View (DCWV), Martha Stewart, Marvy, Impression Obsession, Darcie's, Jolee's, Bazzill, Marvy, Recollections and Memento.

The shaker windows are self-adhesive, very shallow and easy to use. It accommodates a small punched square for the background. The sentiment is from Recollections. I then punched a scalloped square and punched a square out of the middle to create a frame. This frame covered the edges of the shaker window for a neat and clean card front. The windows are filled with iridescent shaped glitter from Martha Stewart. It looks like tiny sequins.

The sentiments are from Darcie's. They are the cutest baby sentiments I've seen in a long time. Thanks for stopping by!
